All papers for DDECS 2022 must be submitted in English and use the standard two-column format (template) for conferences provided by the IEEE.
We recommend you to use a customized IEEE LaTex (download ZIP archive) or MS Word (download ZIP archive) template containing the custom parts required for final submission (an appropriate copyright notice) to reduce the final submission workload.
Regular Papers presenting novel and complete research work. The paper should have at most 6 pages in the IEEE two-column format.
A paper presenting results of a student's PhD or master work. In order to be eligible as a student paper, the first author has to be the student (or more than one student in case of joint work), and the second author the advisor. The accepted paper has to be presented by the student. The paper should have at most 4 pages in the IEEE two-column format.
DDECS fully complies with the IEEE publication policies regarding double submissions, plagiarism, etc. Authors unfamiliar with the IEEE official rules regarding double submissions and IEEE ethics are advised to read the Publication Guidelines section of the IEEE PSPB Operations Manual that can be found here.
A paper submission is considered a commitment that, upon acceptance, authors will submit their camera-ready version for inclusion in the formal Proceedings and will present the paper (or the poster) at the symposium. Each accepted contribution must have at least one full paid registration by the time the camera ready paper is submitted for inclusion in the proceedings. DDECS reserves the right to remove from IEEE Xplore papers and posters not presented at the symposium.
Accepted papers will be included in the Symposium Proceedings and submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing databases (WoS, Scopus, etc).
